Why did I get a customs/post office charge when I received my order?

We currently ship all goods purchased in the Klei Store from the USA. We do our best to package orders so that countries would not have to put customs charges or levies on them. However, from time to time, depending on the destination's customs, charges are placed on a package by the local post office. Alas, we have no control over import, local handling or other customs/post office charges that countries might levy on a shipment or package. 

If you find that you have received a charge other than price of the item + shipping, your best, next step would be to contact your local customs agent to get more information on that charge or levy.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cover customs levies, or local post office charges as it is up to the country of destination's import regulations to control what extra duties/levies might be charged for packages.
